At Hotel Aram, we understand that plans can change. This page explains our cancellation and refund policy for room bookings. We aim to keep our policies fair, transparent, and easy to understand.

1. Cancellation Policy for Direct Bookings

The following cancellation terms apply to room reservations made directly through our website (hotelaram.in) or by contacting the hotel:

2. Bookings Through OTAs & Third-Party Platforms

If you booked your stay through a third-party platform such as MakeMyTrip, Goibibo, Booking.com, Agoda, or any other Online Travel Agency (OTA), the cancellation and refund terms of that platform will apply.

  • Please refer to the confirmation email from the platform for specific cancellation terms.
  • Cancellation and refund requests must be made through the same platform used for booking.
  • Hotel Aram cannot process refunds for bookings not made directly with us.

3. How to Cancel a Booking

To cancel a direct booking, you may use any of the following methods:

  1. Phone: Call us at +91 288 2551702 during working hours.
  2. WhatsApp: Send a cancellation request to +91 93777 09978 with your booking reference number.
  3. Email: Send your cancellation request to contact@hotelaram.com with your booking confirmation details.

Please include your full name, booking reference number, and dates of stay when requesting a cancellation. You will receive a confirmation once your cancellation has been processed.

4. Refund Processing

  • Eligible refunds will be processed within 7–10 business days from the date of cancellation.
  • Refunds will be credited to the original payment method used at the time of booking.
  • If payment was made in cash (for advance bookings), the refund will be arranged via bank transfer or at the hotel front desk.
  • Please allow additional time for the refund to reflect in your account, depending on your bank or payment provider.

5. Early Check-Out

If you check out earlier than your confirmed departure date:

  • The full booking amount for all confirmed nights will be charged. No refund will be issued for unused nights.
  • The standard cancellation policy (Section 1) applies — to avoid charges, any changes must be made at least 5 days before the original check-in date.

6. Modifications to a Booking

If you need to change your travel dates or room type:

  • Modifications are subject to availability at the time of the request.
  • Date changes made 5 or more days before the original check-in date will not incur any charges.
  • Any difference in room rate (higher or lower) will be adjusted accordingly.
  • To modify a booking, contact us via phone, WhatsApp, or email using the details in Section 3.

7. Group Bookings & Banquet Events

Cancellation and refund terms for group bookings (5 or more rooms) and banquet/event reservations may differ from the standard policy. These terms will be specified in the booking agreement provided at the time of confirmation.

For group or event cancellation enquiries, please contact the hotel directly.

8. Force Majeure

In the event of circumstances beyond reasonable control — including but not limited to natural disasters, pandemics, government-imposed travel restrictions, civil unrest, or severe weather events — Hotel Aram will work with affected guests to offer:

  • A full date change at no additional cost, or
  • A credit for a future stay, or
  • A full refund, depending on the circumstances

Each situation will be assessed individually, and we will communicate with affected guests as soon as possible.
